Bass Fillets With Ginger and Spring Onions


Bass Fillets (1-2 per person)

Olive oil for frying

3 Spring Onions, sliced

1 cm cube of fresh ginger, grated



  1. Heat 1 tbsp of olive oil in a frying pan and on a medium heat soften the onions and the ginger.  When soft remove from the pan and set aside.
  2. Place the bass fillet in the same pan, skin side down and fry until the flesh turns white (approx 4 mins).  Flip the fillets to brown the top and sprinkle with the onion and ginger.
  3. Serve with your choice of potatoes, rice or noodles.
